For folks with smaller hands and/or shorter fingers the Short Trigger may give you the assistance you need with better control of your Trigger, Proper finger placement is important on the face of the Trigger for the best control. This besides a variety of grip options are just a few ways Sig has to assist everyone with their best control of their firearm.

Made the difference I needed having smaller hands. Now more comfortable keeping a good grip and staying on target.

My West German Sig P226 has always been one of my favorite guns. Being older with smaller hands the trigger reach was somewhat of a stretch. This short trigger along with the E2 grip kit made this gun fit my hand like a glove. The fit of this trigger and finish was perfect just like the original. I would definitely recommend this trigger for those who would like to decrease their finger reach.

This item is good for the wider 9.5 mm P series. This trigger won’t work with the older German models with a 7.5 mm trigger. Probably should point that out in product description. That being said, I have a couple of newer P series I’m going to try this trigger with. Price was reasonable and shipping was quick..

For those with smaller hands, and/or shorter fingers, this "thin" trigger, may give you better control, for that first... double action shot out of your pistol. OEM Parts provide a cost effective solution.

I have owned a Sig P226 X-5 All Around for several years. Love the gun but is a bit of a finger stretch because I have small hands and stubby fingers. Now, no problem........gun fits like a glove. Trigger was usual Sig quality, although made in India, finish was like German part and hole placement and size were spot on. I just wish there was an equivalent for the P239! MGW, also, was on time, on target, with the order!

Trigger came quickly in the Post and was very easy to install after watching several you-tube videos. The combination of the short reach trigger and the SRT kit is awesome!! This is a great way for people like myself who have small hands and/or short fingers to be able to use the DA of the pistol without having to change you hand position causing uncomfortable or strange feeling shooting positions. Am super happy with the parts as well as the excellent customer service from Midwest. If you are on the fence about the trigger just go for it and then enjoy the new feeling of your new P226!

Nice OEM short reach trigger but no help, mine is an older P220 that requires 8 mm wide trigger. Recommend user measure beforehand. MGW great though, no problem returning.

Got this to make the double action trigger reach a little more comfortable vs the fat trigger. Shopping was fast & I've never had a bad experience ordering from mwgw. One tip for installing this is if you have trouble getting the locking insert fully seated after switching the trigger, make sure you have the cross pin twisted to the correct orientation because it has little notches in it. The new trigger is not the problem. This took me a few minutes to realize why it wasn't reassembling properly.
