This part is fine, but the job itself is a pain.
Remove the old mag throats by pounding them out into the receiver....hit the end of the mag tube (with the cap on, no need to destroy the threads) rubber mallet, toward the receiver. The grooves on the mag throat match the grooves in the mag tube, (these are not threads, not for screwing in..) which is now exposed in the receiver. Keeping a hand on the throats encircling the grooved end (still inside the receiver) slide it all back down to contact the hole the tube came out of. Now find a dowel rod about the diameter of a broomstick. Or just cut of a foot of an old broomstick. Because you never throw anything away; you knew that old broomstick would come in handy one day. You can lay the broomstick piece down in the semi-circle of the mag throat. The broomstick will be at a right angle to the gun, so you can beat the stick with a hammer. You have to get the plastic mag throat pieces completely seated, no gap between the plastic and the receiver. So you have to bang pretty hard many times. And if you use something that doesn't put an even force on the plastic part, it will break. I know. Fortunately I bought both upper and lower parts but only my lower was broken. Until I broke the new upper. So I now have the old (unbroken) upper back in the gun. Anyway, I found the broom handle to correspond pretty closely with the curve of the mag throat. Distributed the force of the hammer blows. If you don't get the plastic mag throats all the way seated, the shell retainer on the trigger assembly will not work. It gets stuck on the plastic mag throat! That was hours number three and four of the job, figuring out and fixing. I did learn a lot about the function of my shotgun and I did save some money but I hope I never have to do this again!
