Got this along with a fore end piece. Both were marketed as semi-fancy, satin finished wood furniture. What I got were two VERY different looking pieces. The fore end was acceptable and looked liked finished piece of wood. The stock is a very dull-looking piece of wood. Semi-fancy? YES. That looks very nice. The finish looks like the last step (satin poly) was omitted. Contacted MGW and was told they don't look at the separate pieces and ship as they're grabbed from the storage bin. I BELIEVE THEM.
