Winchester 9422 Extractor Right Upper

These are very very very spotty. I bought 2 from MGW, sent one back. The other one doesn't work well either. This has nothing to do with MGW. These are MIM parts and claw is not quite large enough and the ledge of the claw is now flat/square enough. This is on Winchester. I tried these in a 9422 made in 1972 (second year), like new rifle. I tried these in a 9422 Trapper made in 2000. Like new. The 1972 model had a blued machined extractor. Didn't work. Both firearms were "like new", the blue on the high-wear areas wasn't gone. In short order, both rifles quit extracting. And NO, it wasn't a flopped over set of springs. Failure to EXTRACT in both firearms. I tried various combinations. I put in new springs as well. Personally, I think the 9422 is the most overrated firearm I've ever owned. I finally got an extractor off of ebay that works - FOR NOW. I assume if it wears at all it will quit extracting. And yes it is MIM. The entire design of the extracting system on these guns is total junk. My Taurus and Rossi 62 I've put 10,000 rounds through them, never cleaned them and they NEVER fail to extract. MGW refunded the part I sent back no problem. Great working with MGW and I plan to buy more parts from them as long as they are around.
