The assembly is designed for the Super X1 model of 12 gauge shotguns from Winchester. The piston head assembly utilizes gas discharge to cycle the shotgun after it is fired. This piston head is made to the same high standards in craftsmanship and materials as you would find from the other parts in your Super X1 shotgun.
