The Flat Wire Full Length Guide Rod and plug replaces your stock recoil spring guide and plug on full size bushing barrel 1911's without any pistol modifications. Assembly and disassembly are the same as with stock components but a bushing wrench may be required. The hardened stainless steel rod has a hole for simple pin-style takedown using a small nail or bent paperclip.
