I was pleasantly surprised to find the Wilson spring cap plug at such a great price!
I had spent hours looking for the one that flew out of my Kimber when I was taking it down for cleaning. I still think it's orbiting the earth with the satellites although it didn't leave a hole in my ceiling!
I knew I could count on Midwest to get me a replacement at a good price.
I had it within a few days and it fit perfect.
I wish I could have ordered a dozen to keep in my prts box for the next time!

Just bought a RIA full size 1911 in 9MM. I have other 1911's. But, this is the first one for me with a full length guide rod. So I was not familiar with how much more tension was on the guide rod spring. Upon rotating the barrel bushing, I thought I had a good hold of the guide rod plug. But, I did not and the plug went flying into the forth dimension, between time and space, never to be seen again. After searching for hours, I decided to order a new one. Wasn't sure what to look for as I never really had a good look at the missile. In any case. MGW came thru and the replacement fit and worked as expected. Thank you.
