Description: Springfield M1A-A1 Scout Front Sight. This front iron sight is approximately .690" tall, made from steel with a matte blued finish and will fit Springfield M1-A1 Scout model rifles chambered in .308 Win and 7.62x51mm. The sight attaches to the flash suppressor via dovetail. All Springfield parts and accessories are made to the highest standards in materials and workmanship. States in comments people have used on socom 16. You will shoot too high and you can’t return it . Very disappointed

Sight that came on my m1a was .1 too short, and the rear bottomed out trying to compensate. Waited almost a year but finally made my baby whole again thanks to mgw!

This was the perfect FS to replace the bulky one that comes with the M1A socom. I wanted a thinner more "normal" m1a sight and this fit the bill perfectly . POA was almost right on with very little vertical adjustment needed.
