Description: Aero Precision SOLUS .478 Bolt Head. Machined from 416 stainless steel with a black finish, this Aero Precision bolt head is designed for short action Aero SOLUS bolt action rifles. The bolt head has a .478 +/- bolt face size and conforms to the Remington 700 short action footprint. The unit has an extractor installed as well as two ejectors. This interchangeable bolt head allows for effortless transition to standard short action calibers like .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Win and other calibers outside standard short action SOLUS offerings.
