This component is compatible with factory Short Action magazines for Browning BLR Rifles manufactured from 1981 to present. This includes Browning BLR Model 81, Lightning, Lightweight, and Takedown models chambered in all standard and magnum short action calibers. This component is not compatible with Browning BLR Pre '81 rifles/magazines. This is a Browning factory original part made to the same specifications as the parts originally in your Browning rifle. Browning factory parts are perfect for replacing your lost or damaged components.

Browning BLR Rifle History
The production of the BLR lever action rifle began in 1969. The Model 81 BLR lever action rifle was introduced in 1981 and included some minor changes, including a different magazine. The Lightning BLR was introduced in 1995 and is still in production.
