• Please Note:  You will need the liner, front mounting cap, and screw from the original forend. This forend requires a metal liner with a front mounting screw sleeve for installation; which is not included. The metal liner from the original forend may be used if it is not damaged, deformed, or modified in any way. The removal of the metal liner from the original forend will require the original forend to be split into 2 pieces, making it unusable once completed. Before installing the forend liner ensure all surfaces are free from dried adhesive debris. Rubbing alcohol, or another cleaning agent that will not hinder new adhesive performance, should be used to clean the metal surfaces. Slight fitting may be required to properly fit your specific liner. Make sure the forend retains its intended shape when the liner is installed. Dry fit the metal liner into the forend, and onto the gun, to ensure proper fit and function. Ensure all inletted surfaces of the forend are completely free from debris before applying adhesive. Generously, apply Acraglas adhesive to all inletted surfaces of the forend that the liner will make contact with. Also, apply adhesive to the metal liner if necessary to ensure the proper function of the gun. Once installed make sure to let the adhesive dry according to the manufactures specifications before use.. All finished parts have been CNC inlet to Boyds' House Action. Variations may exist from firearm to firearm, minor fitting may be required to get that perfect fit to your firearm. Natural cosmetic imperfections such as minor knots, burls, heartwood, mineral lines or minor cosmetic fill work are not considered a defect and will be subject to the 25% restocking fee.

Note: It is recommended that all Boyds parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.
