I was looking for my Tisas double stack 13+1 .380acp trigger spring which broke on me unexpectedly at work doing armed Security but I had my Sig ultra .45acp as primary carry, I surprised to see Beretta 84F had the same spring. Installed it myself very happy and will order few more soon. Thanks to Midwestgunworks.com for stocking this trigger return spring I made one in between time but spring wasn’t as strong as stock.

I broke my spring fiddling with the slide removal lever and had to order another. The problem is that this spring two functions: it pushes the trigger back into position and the tail holds the slide removal stop pin in place to keep the slide removal lever from flopping around when the gun is handled or fired. The hook on the coil goes on a pin on the trigger and is held in place by the slide stop pivot pin. (Which must be removed along with the left grip panel to replace the broken trigger return spring). Insert the tail into the small hole in the slide release stop pin, hook the spring over the pin in the trigger, and using a narrow bladed screwdriver, force the spring down until you can catch it with a punch inserted from the right side of the frame. Insert the slide release, replace the slide release lever, screw the grip back on, reassemble the slide and frame and test the trigger. Unless you have 3 hands, you need a vise to do this. It is not possible otherwise.

A bit of a pain to replace, but now my bang stick works again. Check out the exploded parts diagram before undertaking this repair. Pay close attention to getting the spring in right.
