Not correct for 92X and 92X RDO

Three stars because Midwest gunworks is always on point with parts and shipping times, but this is NOT the correct part for slide mounted safety beretta 92's. I've deduced that this safety plunger is intended for the frame mounted safety beretta models such as the 80 series and the 92X PERFORMANCE.
I had purchased this one because the standard 92/96 safety plunger (part code: C55864) has been OoS for nearly 2 years or more and I needed something other than the decocker kit plunger to get my 92X (non-performance, non-rdo model) back together. Once I got the part installed, the safety would not engage at all. The plunger was not allowing the lever to move down far enough to even decock the gun.
