Description: Beretta APX Muzzle Brake, 1/2x28. Machined from durable aluminum, this muzzle brake is designed for the Beretta APX series pistol with a 1/2" x 28 thread pitch barrel. This muzzle brake features top and side ventilation to help mitigate muzzle flip. Beretta original components are perfect for keeping your firearms in top operational condition.

Note: It is recommended that all Beretta parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

I had expected this to sit more tightly against the front of the slide of my APX A1, but after installation there was still a gap of 4-5mm. Ultimately I sheared the threads trying to get one more impossible turn, so it's junk now. Save yourself $50 and just use a universal brake...

the threads do not quite match the barrel. It took using a vice to get it to screw on fully. That being said, after it was installed it preformed perfectly. With the DPM recoil spring felt recoil is way down, almost like shooting a .22
