Description: EGW 1911 Hard Sear, Long. This durable hard steel sear from EGW is machined from strong tool steel and heat-treated to 52-53 RC. The long sear is designed for the 1911 pistol platform a few thousandths of an inch longer than the standard EGW hard sear. The extra length allows the sear to be stoned to the desired length using a radial jig. The sear features minimal geometric improvements to the original GI sear spec at the hammer contact surface to ensure precision and strength. Perfect for True Radius triggers

This is a high quality sear made to the long end of the sear to hammer dimensions. Combined with the Wilson combat hammer and a True Radius jig, I got a sub 4# trigger with no creep. Very clean let off. Couldn't be happier. Money well spent on my Springfield Trophy Match.
