Beretta 92 Suppressor Height Sights

I like these sights. I installed them with no issues on my Beretta 92 GTS. They provide a clear sight picture over the suppressor. However there is an issue related to the geometry of the sights that I had to deal with. Notice the forward facing ramp above the dovetail on the rear sight. That extends far enough forward that it blocks the firing pin block, If you are familiar with the 92, it has a firing pin block that rises out of the receiver when the trigger is pulled. When I first installed these I did not notice this forward piece blocked the rise of that preventing a trigger pull. I just filed it back 1/8 inch so the firing pin block clears the sight and all is well. Filing it did not interfere with the tritium insert... took maybe 10 minutes. Not sure ... but cant imagine the GTS version is configured differently that a vanilla

Once installed the sights are excellent. I have the m9a3, and i would expect most beretta 92s that have the firing pin block will have to have a little filing under the anterior ledge of rear sight to allow clearance for it. Expect about .25mm of filling to allow for that clearance
