Descripton: Remington Model 552 Buffer Pads. This black rubber pad is designed to fit Remington Model 552 Speedmaster rifles chambered in .22 caliber, and is a direct factory replacement component part. The buffer pad fits into the rear of the receiver and works in conjunction with the bolt buffer to cushion the bolt during operation.

Replaced all 7 springs in my Remington 552 Speedmaster. Had jams like 7 out of 45, after springs being replaced now am down to 3 out of 123, not perfect but definitely improved. Several of the old springs were shorter compared to new springs. Most notables were the action, magazine and especially the carrier spring. Also replaced buffer pad old one hard as a rock.
