Descripton: Remington Model 552 / 572 Magazine Spring. This polished steel coil spring will fit Remington Model 552 Speedmaster and 572 Fieldmaster .22 caliber rifle magazines. The magazine spring is secured inside the inner magazine tube by the magazine pin and provides tension to the follower to push ammunition into the receiver. Replace your worn or broken magazine spring with this factory original component part.

Replaced all 7 springs in my Remington 552 Speedmaster. Had jams like 7 out of 45, after springs being replaced now am down to 3 out of 123, not perfect but definitely improved. Several of the old springs were shorter compared to new springs. Most notables were the action, magazine and especially the carrier spring.
