Descripton: Remington Model 552 / 572 Hammer Spring. This polished steel coil spring is designed to fit .22 caliber Remington Model 552 Speedmaster and 572 Fieldmaster rifles. The hammer spring holds tension when the hammer is pulled back and engaged with the sear. Replace your worn or broken hammer spring with this factory OEM spring and keep your trigger plate assembly in top operating condition.

Replaced all 7 springs in my Remington 552 Speedmaster. Had jams like 7 out of 45, after springs being replaced now am down to 3 out of 123, not perfect but definitely improved. Several of the old springs were shorter compared to new springs. Most notables were the action, magazine and especially the carrier spring.
