When I bought my 1894 new back in 1977, right off the bat it did the Marlin jammed. I took it to the nearest warranty shop for repair. The jerk did nothing, I repaired it myself and it worked fine for around 30 years, then started doing it again. Repaired it again, but only lasted about 10 years. This time I just couldn't get it right, so I decided to buy a new lever. Best thing I did for the gun. Now it feeds like it should and isn't hyper OAL sensitive. Wise I had don't this years ago.
