These Padded Floorplates are carry overs from the early days of Sauer & Sohn manufactured Magazines of the '80s and '90s. Used these in LE when my duty weapon was a German made P226, and saved the Magazines while training when they were dropped on asphalt or concrete surfaces. While a little more costly now, than they were 30 years ago, so are the Magazines themselves. With the included locking inserts, they can be used on most Sig branded Magazines, as well as some other manufacturers.
