Description: Springfield M1A Composite Stock w/ Metal Butt Plate, Black. This Springfield Armory factory original composite stock is manufactured for the M1A rifles chambered in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor or 7.62x51mm. Made from black synthetic polymer with detailed checkering, this stock features a metal butt plate with a USGI cleaning kit compartment and a front and rear steel sling swivel already installed for appropriate accessory attachments. This reliable Springfield Armory composite stock is perfect for your next workshop project or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged M1A part.

I bought the M1A composite stock as an alternate stock to my original wood stock, for those times when the rifle is going to be subjected to adverse environmental conditions. The composite stock fits great, has all the functions of the standard wooden stock, and does not affect the action of the rifle at all, as far as I can notice. I'm really happy with the product.

Bought a SOCOM 16 with the archangel stock configuration. I could never come to like the feel of that setup plus it looked dam ugly I’n my opinion... I looked onMGW and found the traditional composite stock. Order was processed quickly and I received in a few days. The stock fit perfectly, as if it came straight from the factory on the gun.. have fired several hundred rounds since purchasing the stock, there has been no issue wit fit or functionality
