Description: Springfield Hellcat 3.8" 9mm Threaded Barrel w/ Self-Indexing Compensator. Now available for the ever-popular Hellcat micro 9mm EDC pistol is a 3.8" Threaded Barrel w/ Self-Indexing Compensator kit. This drop-in system is designed to work with any standard configuration Hellcat 9mm pistol and features a black Melonite finish for rust resistance and lubricity as well as 1/2x28 threading. The compensator, included with the threaded barrel, helps reduce muzzle rise and perceived recoil.

Bought my Hellcat when it first came out, then a buddy got his with the new compensator. Amazing how much it helps with the muzzle snap. next best upgrade for them after trigger.

I wanted a Hellcat RDP but settled for an OSP. With Springfield finally releasing this barrel, I now have the pistol I wanted. The comp works well to flatten out the recoil on hotter loads but the gun still cycles with mouse fart reloads. Accuracy is better than I can hold and the gun is much easier to shoot. As an added bonus, the increased length makes the gun/holster combo much more stable when carried IWB at 3:30 to 4:00.
