This Sig Sauer factory replacement tactical handguard is constructed of Mil-grade aluminum and features a top picatinny rail for sight and optic. Low profile and rifle length, this MLOK handguard comes available with a gray, black, or flat dark earth coated finish. Install is super easy, literally just slides off and on like the OEM Sig rectangular handguards. Still doesn't hold zero any better than the rectangular ones but Arisaka at least make a zero-hold-retention bracket that fixes that problem so the front few inches are usable for lasers and front BUS. Since this is the 12" version, its works okay with the 11.5" 5.56 barrel. The openings of the prongs on my DA flash hider are barely able to clear the front of the handguard. The front still gets a bit dirty from the blast if I don't attach my Pyro or Wolfman but its nothing that can't just be wiped off. On my 9" 300Blk barrel, since I don't shoot without my suppressor attached anyways, I don't really have an issue with the muzzle not clearing the rail. It is also much nicer than the 8" rail that comes on that gun since I like having more rail to grab on to. Overall great product, I like the round "chunkiness" of this rail compared to the regular rectangle rail that Sig ships the MCX with. Feels much better to hold.

Works great for the mcx platform does not work for the rattler so keep that in mind but it’s a great product definitely worth while if you are going to run suppressed
