Description: JARD Marlin 1895 / 336 Pistol Grip Big Loop Lever Kit, Black. This JARD Big Loop Lever is designed for Marlin 1895, 336, and 444 lever-action rifles with pistol grip stocks. This big loop lever features a matte-blued finish. The JARD Big Loop Lever Kit provides a larger opening to prevent recoil biting to your hands, as well as ease of use with gloved hands. The installation process is quick and simple; however, nominal fitting may be required in rare cases.

Big Loop Lever for Marlin 336

I have been looking at this replacement lever for months now but couldn’t pull the trigger on it. Well I finally did with hesitation and I am pleasantly surprised especially with the plunger/detent already installed. I put the lever on a 1982 Marlin 336 in .35 Remington with no issues or problems with function. The finish is kind of a matte finish instead of being blued but all in all I am extremely impressed. I’ll be getting another one for my Marlin cowboy 45/70. Excellent purchase !!!

It's a little sloppy and the small plunger spring is a bit too strong, but it was nice not to have to swap plunger and spring from old lever.
The lever performed flawlessly with multiple shots fired on a fast moving target. I have yet to experience a half-rack or jam with this lever.

This large loop fit perfectly on my Marlin/Glenfield 30A 30-30. It is basicly the same as the Marlin 336, just made with birch wood. The large loop works smoothly and i couldn’t be more satisfied.
