Description: L3I CZ 457 Billet 10 Round 22LR Magazine. This expertly crafted 10 round rimfire magazine from L3I is machined from a black anodized 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum for use in CZ 457 bolt action rifles chambered for .22 LR. The mag will also fit within CZ 452 and CZ 455 models. The lightweight aluminum body is paired with a steel follower and durable spring to provide smooth, reliable, feeding shot after shot. The magazine features witness windows on either side of the body to allow competitors to quickly verify they have the right amount of ammunition loaded. The L3i magazines and billet magazine well for a CZ457 .22lr disappoint in that they do not work together straight out of the box. Bullets flip inside the Magazine and the external magazine hook would not latch to the L3i billet magazine well.
Had to do significant internal and external adjustments to make the two parts latch together. I ordered several magazines and all had to be modified. I was hopeful that ordering the mag and the well from the same manufacturer would work seamlessly. After significant amount of time and testing, I finally have them working. For the cost of these parts, this is unacceptable dimension control. I wanted all metal parts, but buying from L3i was a mistake. In no-way can I recommend this mag and well combination.

The last round consistently springs upward preventing it from entering the chamber. This doesn’t happen with the polymer magazine I purchased. The first 9 round work well. Considering the price I wouldn’t buy this magazine.

This is my third transaction with MWG Works and all have been text book perfect.
My orders are acknowledged at the time of the transaction with shipping
confirmation following no later than the next day.
The L3I 10 round Billet mags work flawlessly with my CZ 457 in a MDT chassis.
I would recommend both MWG as well as the L3I mags.

I purchased two 10 round CZ 22lr magazines and so far are well worth the $$. They are made of metal which is a big improvement AND so far, about 100 rounds in, no jams. As of present performance I recommend this purchase.
