Description: Lancer Systems AR-15 Carbon Fiber Handguard, Round w/ Standard Cooling Slots, 13" Rifle Plus Length. This carbon fiber handguard is 14.60" long and weights only 10.10 oz. Designed to fit standard M4 / AR15 upper receivers and variants, this lightweight handguard is made of carbon fiber with an aluminum reciever extension. The cooling slots provided help reduce barrel temperature and also allow the installation of accessory rails. There are also slots at six o'clock for an accessory rail and holes for a sling swivel stud for attaching a bipod. The hand guard is a free float design comprising of a custom round carbon-fiber handguard tube connected to the upper receiver with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver extension.

FEATURES:

Free float design ensures that the barrel is not affected by pressure on the handguard, eliminating point of impact deviations
Low profile, carbon fiber tube is as rigid and impact resistant as lightweight aluminum free float tube designs
Standard cooling slots will accept accessory rail hardware
The LCR5 model fits standard M4 / AR15 upper receivers or variants
Accessory slots are located at 6 o'clock for an accessory rail and holes for a sling swivel stud so a bi‐pod can be attached
Inner/Outer Diameter is 1.69"/2.00"

Note: Free float design installation requires the removal of the rifle's barrel and specialized knowledge in AR rifle disassembly / assembly. It is recommended that this part be installed by a qualified gunsmith.
