Description: Springfield M1A Spindle Valve. Designed to fit Springfield M1A series rifles chambered in 7.62x51mm, .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, this factory original component is made from steel with a black finish. Rotating the spindle opens or closes the gas port to the cylinder, which is mainly used when using the barrel mounted grenades or line throwing devices.
