Description: Springfield M1A Gas Piston. Made from high quality polished steel, this gas piston fits into the gas cylinder and pushes the operating rod. The piston will fit Springfield M1A series .308 Win, 7.62x51mm and 6.5 Creedmoor caliber rifles and is a direct factory replacement part. Keep

Great factory replacement at a good price. My M1A was set up for a suppressor. I wanted to return it to factory look. The piston in the rifle was tuned to run suppressed. Would not cycle low pressure ammo properly. Works great now. Eats the cheap stuff like candy.
