This shoe is designed to hold the slide of Smith and Wesson Gen 3 pistol models chambered in .45 ACP - 4500 series. Installed in the lower half of either sight tool, this shoe properly secures the slide to allow the front or rear sight to be quickly and efficiently removed or installed.
