Description: Canik Full Size Recoil Spring, Low Force. The Canik Full-Size Low Force recoil spring/guide rod assembly is produced for users who target optimum performance with lower energy ammunition. This recoil spring also plays an important role in directing the force of the recoil on the slide, helping you stay on target for faster follow-up shots. This recoil spring is marked with blue paint and the letter "L", meaning it is intended to be used with 9mm ammunition operating below +P+ pressure specification.

Just what was needed

I have been changing things around on my Canik Tp9sfx to make it a solid tactical weapon. I have added a red dot optic, threaded barrel, and compensator. After getting it all together and taking it out to test fire, I started having a Failure to Eject issue, and Failure to Feed issue. I ended up going with this low force recoil spring, and now this weapon runs and runs and runs without any issues. It is a solid tack driver for a handgun and I couldn't be more happy! Shipping was amazingly fast, it took less then a week to get the Spring from clear across the country. I will definitely use MGM again as they have earned my business with Items described exactly to a tee, and super quick shipping and great communication.

Failure To Feed: SOLVED

I was having issues with my new out of the box Canik TP9SF. Shooting 115gr ammunition I had numerous failure to feed, failure to cock and failure to return to full battery. After much online searching I discovered that the OEM recoil spring is a bit stiff and this low recoil spring could solve my issues. Well, IT DID! Fired over 200 flawless rounds after installing. If you have a relatively new Canik, this spring is a great additional item.

Wasn’t really noticeable between the stock heavy spring and the low force but I love changing and trying things. Have had zero misdeeds or failure to eject on any ammo.

Difficulty racking my TP9 after
Surgery. Ordered a Canik low-force recoil spring from MWG. Spring came in a couple days. Easy R&R.
Amazing difference with new spring. Exactly what I needed. Even after surgery, this spring makes racking easy again.

This RSA adds about two feet to the ejection distance compared to the stock item. The shipping cost and shipping speed from MGW were good. I have no complaints.

Rival SFX w/low recoil spring

I've been shooting the Rival with this low recoil spring (blue) for a little over 2,000 rounds and it has been absolutely flawless!!! I had the springco recoil management system, but began to have problems at around 6000 rounds. Went back to OEM for another 8K, then introduced this low recoil spring. It works like a charm and the gun definitely shoots flatter, but to what extent, I cannot answer. I definitely recommend this and I bought an extra one for my METE SFX and my METE SFT Pro
