Used this buffer in conjunction with a Rifle Dynamics Short Stroke Buffer and standard AK recoil guide rod assembly to replace a broken recoil assembly on a KUSA KR-9. This slips right over the end of the guide rod, and serves the same function as the metal bump stops did on the original recoil button to keep the bolt from overtraveling into the rear trunnion, with the RD buffer installed as normal between this and the bolt. 100 rounds of 9mm later, seems to work flawlessly for that purpose.
