Description: Springfield Armory 911 .380 ACP Safety Detent Plunger. Crafted from a strong steel, this plunger is an OEM factory original part from Springfield Armory. The safety detent plunger is designed to be used in the 911 model of pistol chambered in .380 Auto. The plunger is installed under the thumb safety and uses the tension provided by the safety detent spring to give the safety positive movement and positioning. This plunger is an ideal replacement part for lost or damaged components and is also great to throw in the spares chest. As with any other item manufactured by Springfield, this part reflects the quality and craftsmanship you have come to expect from Springfield Armory.

I'm pretty sure the original one burned up on it's way to mars when I swung the thumb safety too far and it was relieved from it's high pressure duty. Glad to have MGW to help get that safety back in order. Thanks!
