Powder River Precision Springfield XD Mod2 SC 9MM Drop-In Trigger Kit

Description: Powder River Precision Springfield XD Mod2 SC 9MM Drop-In Trigger Kit. This drop-In trigger upgrade kit is for the Springfield XD MOD.2 Sub-Compact pistols chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W. This kit is not compatible with first generation XD models or XD MOD.2 with 4" or 5" barrels. Manufactured by Powder River Precision this kit includes an OEM PRP trigger, PRP striker safety lever, PRP reduced power striker spring, PRP competition striker spring, PRP striker safety spring, PRP sear spring, PRP trigger spring and PRP competition trigger spring. This PRP kit includes alternate competition components. Once installed, the components in this kit will aid in giving the firearm a short crisp trigger pull (about 3.5-4.5lbs).

This PRP Drop-In Trigger Kit will only fit XD MOD.2 Sub-Compact pistols *(Not compatible with the first generation XD models or XD MOD.2 4" or 5" pistols)*. The PRP Drop-In Trigger Kit contains Powder River Presicions famous PRP Striker Safety Lever, to remove the long trigger pre-travel on the XD trigger and two different PRP Weight Trigger Springs and PRP Striker Springs.  The PRP Competition Weight Springs (lightest weight) are marked with blue ink. The other PRP Reduced Weight Springs include the PRP Sear Spring and the PRP Striker Safety Spring to lower the pull weight. Powder River Presicions PRP Trigger is made of tough light weight polymer that helps speed up the reset. It also has an integral over travel stop on the back of the trigger. Using this method of over travel stop removes added stress on the trigger bar that is present with any of the other over travel stop method. This PRP Trigger is a Springfield Armory OEM part available on production XD and XDM pistols from the factory. When installed correctly, the PRP Drop-In Trigger Kit will give you a short crisp trigger pull (about 3.5-4.5lbs) with a fast reset and shorten the total trigger pull length.
