Much appreciation to Midwestgunworks for awesome shipping and service during the pandemic. I could not be happier with this company and will be buying much more from them. The rifle’s fit and finish are top notch. There is no wiggle (and I mean none) between the upper and lower. The rifle is ambidextrous and easily manipulated. The QD points are perfect for cinching the rifle down to your body. The rail is long and lightweight enough to mount necessary optics, lights, grips, etc. The trigger is crisp with a tactile, but light pull, and reset. The bolt is an absolute work of art. It has cutouts to lighten its weight, dual-extractors to ensure ejection, and perfect staking. The buffer is surprisingly quiet. It is a substantially “beefy” rifle, so be cautious and purposeful with what you choose to mount on it. It’s 16 inch barrel delivered sub-moa at 100 yards and 2 moa at 300 yards. I believe that 2 moa could be brought closer with some better glass. Can’t really ask for much more given the quality and price of the rifle. I’m truly impressed by Sig for the job they did (regardless of what critics think of the “Tread” branding). Speaking of which, the branding on the firearm is subtle and not at all “gotty.” Thank you again to Midwestgunworks! Give them a try and you won’t be unsatisfied!
