Description: Sure Cycle AR-9 SC9 Workhorse PCC Buffer & Braided Spring Combo Kit. This buffer system kit is designed for AR pistol caliber carbines utilizing a one piece bolt carrier group (BCG) and features a triple wound, cold-drawn, braided carbine buffer spring for the absolute best in both high tensile strength and high elastic limit properties. A black oxide finish and PTFE Teflon coating are featured on the spring to provide an extremely low friction rate. The triple-wound braided SC spring also boasts excellent noise reduction for more bang and less twang. This SC9 Workhorse is a great choice for many running suppressors or to eliminate some of the annoying twangs from traditional springs and buffers. The SC9 Workhorse Carbine Buffer is a steel-cased phosphate finished one piece buffer with a weight of 8oz. This 8.0 oz. weight is ideal for recoil management, less muzzle jump and less wear and tear on the weapon. Running the SC9 can also maintain the proper cycle rate that is crucial when operating pistol caliber AR platforms. The SC9 should only be used in pistol caliber blowback carbines that utilize the one piece BCG.
