Description: Tandemkross Bolt Keeper Extended Bolt Lock for Ruger 10/22, Black. Constructed from quality steel, this Tandemkross bolt keeper extended bolt lock is for the Ruger 10/22 .22 LR rifles. This piece allows for simplified manipulation of the bolt lock, is easily installed and ergonomic. Once installed, the "Bolt Keeper" provides an extended and widened profile, which will allow the operator to release the bolt in a slingshot motion by pulling back slightly on the bolt handle, while the bolt simply releases. I never did like the bolt lock on the 1022 but this new bolt lock is so much better and easy to use.

I've purchased 10/22 bolt locks from other manufacturers and found them to have poor machine tolerances causing the bolt action lock to work intermittently. I ordered the Tandemkross device from MGW, received it in fairly short order and installed it on my rifle. Although there were no installation directions included in the package, it was relatively easy to determine how to set up the action. It works flawlessly! I'm very happy with the performance.
