Description: Ranger Point Precision Marlin Trigger Kit. This drop in Ranger Point Precision trigger kit is manufactured for Marlin 1894, 308, 336, 444, and 1895 model rifles chambered in a variety of calibers including .22LR, .45-70 Govt, .44 Rem Mag, .35 Remington, .450 Marlin and custom calibers such as the .218 Bee and 44 RIPSAW. This Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) approved kit once installed reduces trigger pull weight, removes flop and features a broader and flatter trigger face and angle to allow for a more natural and comfortable trigger pull. The kit includes a precision cut black nitrided steel sear and a trigger with 4 hard anodized finishes; black, brushed aluminum, gold, and Military Green.
All Ranger Point Precision parts have been specially designed to be backward compatible with models made from 1950 to current production.

The ranger point precision Marlin trigger kit definitely takes the crappie trigger flop out of your Marlin. It also took the trigger pull from about 6 lbs to an acceptable 3.3 lbs.

After making a great rifle then putting in a crappy heavy trigger. This Ranger Point trigger is a must. Easy to install, smooth, and a nice 3.5 pounds. I have installed several of these now. Honestly, its the trigger the rifle deserves to come with!

This is tuff because the people at both companies were great about the whole deal. But I happen to own a rifle that falls under that one percent. Because the add says it fits 99 percent. So had to return it. Seems to me with all the great gunsmiths u would figure out why.

Marlin 1894 lever came from the factory at 6lb pull weight. Installed trigger and hammer spring and she is at 2 1/4 lb now. Very happy

The 308 Marlin Express is a hard weapon to find Ammo and parts. Was surprised to find a lighter trigger. Wasn't hard to put on. Used Google. Haven't had a chance to use it but it seems a lot lighter.

I installed the Ranger Point Precision Marlin Trigger Kit on my 450 Marlin and it made a significant difference. My groups shrank down from 2-3 inches to just over an inch. It is a much crisper and lighter trigger than factory with a noticeably cleaner let off. I'm very impressed for a lever gun. Trigger pull went from the factory trigger at 5 lbs, 14oz to the Ranger Point trigger at 2 lbs, 6.8oz with a Lyman digital trigger gauge. Installation is easy. If you know how to take your rifle down for cleaning you can install this trigger. You'll be glad you did. I recommend it.

It just plain works! I carefully worked over my original Marlin hammer and sear but only succeeded in putting some creep into the trigger pull and didn’t improve weight of pull at all. Stopped right there and ordered this part. Installed per the instructions and, WOW, what a difference! Pull is now 3.0-3.5 lbs and crisp! Definitely made a believer and repeat buyer out of me.

I leaned on a video for instructions, so it came apart and went back together well, no problems. Installation is pretty simple if you have a good screwdriver. I ordered the aftermarket spring to install the spring and trigger at the same time. Overall the trigger pull is as advertised. This modification is a big improvement over the factory pull force. Can't wait to try it!
