Description: Volquartsen Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Rifle Lightweight Carbon Fiber Barrel, 22LR 17" Threaded 1/2-28. Manufactured from quality steel with a carbon fiber tension wrap, this 17" barrel is designed for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle chambered in .22 LR. Using a sleeve to create tension on the barrel itself, this barrel is designed to provide increased accuracy at a much lighter weight than standard bull barrels. This barrel upgrade kit includes the barrel, barrel wrench, SureStrike firing pin, Exact Edge extractor and a 1/2" x 28 thread protector.

The SureStrike Firing Pin has a point of contact that has been engineered to cover more of the rim to help achieve positive ignition on every shot.

The geometry of the Exact Edge Extractor has been changed by moving the hook .015" closer to the rim and changing the angle so that it grabs the spent casing with much more precision and control.
