Description: Volquartsen CNC Machined Disconnector, Ruger MK II, MK III, MK IV, &22/45. For over 40 years, Volquartsen Firearms has set the standard for precision firearms and aftermarket accessories. If you are looking for an upgrade from factory components, look no further than Volquartsen.

The Volquartsen CNC-Machined Disconnector is CNC-machined from 416 stainless steel. The machining process allows them to make several design changes to the the way the disconnector functions. They have added material that increases rigidity over the current design. This increased rigidity not only improves trigger pull but also will improve overall functioning as it will prevent any binding or interference that can be found on the prior design and factory design. This is due, in part, to variances in the factory frame tolerances. The CNC-machined design also features an integral pin without the step found on the factory design. They have also machined the pin that comes in contact with the trigger plunger round to reduce friction as it moves over the trigger plunger.

Machined trigger bar

Very good quality! Finish is way better than factory. Quality is better than factory. The only issue that I have is that one dimension is a bit too big. The bottom of the hole, where the tigger bar rides on the hammer bushing is a bit too tall. This dimension sets the height where the tigger bar tab hits the sear. The small tab is .040 inch. Previous V trigger bars which I have installed, have engaged the sear enough to actuate the sear. The last one did not, unless I pushed up on it with my finger. This lead me to measure and compare dimensions. Taking off .020 to .030 inch of material allows all .040 of the sear tab, to engage the sear. YES I would recommend this quality part. however, if you have too little trigger bar to sear engagement, just take some material off the bottom of the hammer bushing cut out. Compare it to the original and you will see the difference. This may not be the case if you use the Volquartsen hammer and bushing. I suspect that this is the case. I do not use the Volquartsen hammer.
